ABC radio changes

Brisbane's 612 ABC is going back to the future. ABC Local Radio Broadcaster of the Year Spencer Howson, lately heard in the afternoons, is returning to the breakfast slot in 2006, with Madonna King (recently a political commentator on 4BC) likely to host the morning current program shift, Richard Fidler to continue as host of the 11am Conversations Hour and Kelly Higgins-Devine to host drive. It's also been suggested that former mornings host Steve Austin will move into the night shift.
