Unknowns unengaged

“It was just too soon to enter into a lifelong commitment." So says a joint statement from Kimberly Stewart and Talan Torriero, announcing that their engagement has been called off. Who? I hear you say. Well, Kimberly's the daughter of Rod Stewart, a former rock singer who now makes a living flogging inferior versions of classic American songs. Talan is apparently a "hunk" from a show called Laguna Beach. Not quite Brad and Angelina; more like Nick and Jessica (with the good sense to call it off before it got too serious).
