The Regent Theatre should be

The Regent Theatre should be saved as it has character and is a beautiful historical building. Why do we need to continue to build these modern corporate style buildings.

Brisbane needs more culture and art. Other states such as Melbourne and Sydney have interesting history and culture and art something Brisbane is lacking in. People visit a city to experience its history and culture not to see a concrete jungle which Brisbane is becoming.

The Regent theatre is a great place for people to relax and unwind whilst enjoying the splendor of the beautiful architecture.

Instead of redeveloping the Regent why not capitalise on its potential for example, hold special evenings where people get to dress up and enjoy film festivals or theme nights. Or perhaps a fundraising night where people help raise money for a worthy cause. This can only be of benefit to Brisbane and its economy.

Help support this important cause to save an iconic building, one of its kind in Brisbane.

As a your girl my brother and I went to see the Beatles movie HELP.
It was on a continuos loop, so we were able to see it non stop all
day for one fare. It is the most beautiful threatre and we need to
save our cities heritage. Please HELP stop it's destruction.
